Yarraville House

After having this beauty re-stumped it was time to finish the job with an exterior recoat. As a part of our specialty, this old girl needed some serious restoration work to weatherboards and an original condition, 100-year-old bay window.

During prep, we identified multiple previous paint jobs that had resulted in some windows being painted shut and some areas that required stripping rather than a standard sand. Once it was confirmed that the window mechanisms still worked; we were able to ease the windows open, clear out old paint and recoat to finish with fully functional windows once again. Sounds simple doesn’t it? You would be surprised by how many times we come across this. 3 coats, updated trims and a new front door colour later and we delivered an up to date look for this stunning Yarraville home.
